Concepting a production method

When you want to bring a new product to the market, it is important to think about the production of the product on a larger scale early on. For example, the production method, manufacturability and the costs involved. This information affects how you want to market the product, the price of the product, and the delivery times you can meet.

You probably have an idea about which production method your product needs. We can think along with you to see if this is the most efficient way. Sometimes a small adjustment to the product or production method can make a large difference in production time and costs. We can validate a production method with a proof-of-concept.

From idea to design

When the production method is clear, the next step is to design and develop the production line. The different production steps are converted into production machines or workstations and the way of transport between the production steps is chosen. As an experienced machine builder, we often do this stage step by step, by first automating one step and then working on the surrounding production steps.

When designing a production line, there are many factors to consider, such as safety, number of operators needed, scalability and the available facilities.

From design to machine

When the design of the production line or production machine has been completed, and the software and operating systems have been developed, the production line can be realised.

Finally, it is important that the line is properly tested and validated to ensure that it works according to the agreed specifications. The production line is delivered with extensive manuals and training for the local technical service or the operators.
